It’s that facilitation aspect that I’m finding most exciting, actually. That’s probably why it took me so long to get a cellphone. Until this device, all such gadgets were just “one more thing” to clutter up my life. This iPhone simplifies.

And that, after all, is what technology ought to do — even if it rarely does.
